Think of capacity ("Ah") like a fuel tank. The higher the Ah value, the more energy your battery stores and the further you can ride.

 Higher Ah = longer range.

Beyond that, it has no other effect, positive or negative, on motor performance or on the electrical system. A change in the "Ah" value doesn't mean you need to replace the motor, the controller or the wiring. Your bike keeps working exactly as it does now.

 Range figures are calculated based on the original range stated by the bike's manufacturer.

Example: On a bike rated at 50 km with a 10Ah battery, increasing the capacity to 25Ah gives a theoretical range of around 125 km.

️ Real-world range varies with speed, riding style, gradient, rider weight and ambient temperature.

 For this reason, range is not guaranteed. The battery's capacity, however, always matches the stated value.

 Charging time depends on the battery's capacity and on the amperage of the charger you use.

Example: A 10Ah battery reaches a full charge in around 5 hours with a 2A charger.
